No assembly instructions, but it wasn't difficult to figure out. However, after getting another stacking bird cage stand, I've realized that this stand is not very sturdy at all. I keep having to tighten the bolts and it doesn't stand up straight like my other stand does. It works, but the more you move it, the more it leans. And you have to move it to clean the floor every so often. Not sure I would've bought this had I known it wouldn't stay sturdy.
