The rack I replaced had, in total, more hanging options (projections). Maybe it's not fair for me to complain, since I could have done a better job counting hanging options before I purchased. On the plus side, the ends of the projections are rounded so if a coat hangs there for more than a brief period of time, the fabric is less likely to be distorted.Arrived obviously used and filthy dirty. Decided to put it together and loved how it looked after I wiped it down. But the moment a jacket went onto it it started tilting. I tried to straighten it and sometimes it would straighten and sometimes not. But even when it straightened, it did not stay straight for long. The center pole needs to be redesigned so that it stays uprights and does not tilt.Very happy with this purchase. After reading reviews of lots of coat racks on this site, I concluded that going below this price point was not a good idea (complaints went up dramatically for the cheaper options). So I picked this one, which was a good choice. It is well engineered and was well packed. Assembly was easy: less than 20 minutes with pictorial directions. It is solid and stable with a heavy base. It doesn't look cheap. The number of hooks makes it very functional and the lower hooks are great for bags. It looks good, not cheap.This rack appears sturdy enough and was easy to assemble in about 10 minutes... mine arrived today with gashes in the base’s cover... for the cost you would expect a little better quality.This was easy to put together and heavy enough not to fall over - just what I wanted.Good price, looks okay, you can hang hats on it which is what we needed it for. Just what I expected.The rack came scratched but it was easy to assemble.Not sturdy enough for many coats.I cannot recommend this product enough. I needed a coat stand for my home, and the glowing reviews this product had gotten in the past had convinced me that I had found what I needed. I placed the order, and within a week the box had arrived.First of all, the instructions for assembly are very well printed, very easy to follow, and are clear and concise. I have had nightmares in the past with self-assembly items due to the instructions being poorly formatted and difficult to follow. But there was absolutely zero issue here; everything was clearly marked.Secondly, assembly itself takes mere minutes. Literally. I set aside an hour to get this put together. I had it done and ready within ten minutes. Everything just screws into place neatly and cleanly. No tools are needed. And with the clear instructions, it is easy-peasy.Thirdly, the stand is very sturdy and can take a good amount of coats and jackets, and is also very unlikely to tip over. The metal construction also means it will not crack or warp easily.And finally, it looks stylish, modern, and sleek. It is a very aesthetically pleasing piece and looks well in any setting.If you are looking to get a coat stand, do not look any further. You will sincerely be hard-pressed to find a better product on the market. I was very impressed with this, and if I ever have the need for another coat-stand, I shall be looking no further.This is a fab coat rack (and I've tried many!). Very easy to assemble (trust me) and there's a bit of heaviness to the base which makes it nice and sturdy. My husband can't stop buying fleeces and this rack fits all of them, no problem at all. Also doesn't take up much space.We like this stylish, modern looking coat stand. It is self assembly but comes with instructions, easy enough to work out. It is well balanced and does not wobble. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the plastic part meant to stand umbrellas in looks odd and cheap. That particular part of the coat stand could have been designed a little better.This coat stand came very quickly and was very easy to put up and very sturdy. It wobbles a bit when coats are put on but the base is so heavy it does not move. Plenty of room for coats, bags, scarves and umbrellas and does not take up much room and the style of this goes with my neutral décor, I have had a lot of compliments about it. I would recommend to a friend.Great product. This has a nice weighted base to stop it wobbling. The top revolves and the umbrella holder is open ended so you can hang folded umbrellas by the wrist strap.as well as standing full length ones in there.. Really like the modern design too.
